Real World Games: Be Mario, PacManhattan

Wired has an article about another "jump like in a video game" project:
The Nintendo Amusement Park is a project by three New York University students who want to create a life-size obstacle course based on Super Mario Bros. that lets players strap into a bungee system to jump 12 feet in the air, smash Goombas, collect coins and snag magic mushrooms, just like in the classic video game.

They are currently in open beta, so if you are in the New York area you can sign up to try it. Looks like fun!

PacManhattan is a project to play PacMan in the real world, running around city streets with position-sensing equipment.

(Both of these games come from NYU's Big Games lecture class)
